1.5 hrs a night during the week evenings is a good enough amount of time to train (depending on what your goin for) if its just local events like club races its excellent. But first you should have a pretty sound base before you do any racing. With this in mind I personally am doing level 2 during the week 75%-83%max as its a short time it should'nt take too much out of you BUT ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS listen to your body if the heart rate will not go up just take it easy on that occasion. These are levels I used to find hard to do but that was I was exceeding 2hrs with them and my body was not recovering. This is what I think anyway Aidan from studying a bit about it along with some other peeps but I'm sure somebody else will think different. Do you find this valuable?
