Noreen Mc Garvey, age four, from Gweedore is the daughter of Ronan and Sonia Mc Garvey.
On Tuesday 13th May 2008 Noreen was involved in a horrific car accident which took the life of one woman, and left Noreen and her Mother Sonia with serious injuries. Noreen’s younger brother Aodhan was also in the car but escaped with minor injuries.
Noreen who is currently at the Stoke Mandival clinic in the UK is confined to a wheelchair. Her parents are trying everything possible to get Noreen the best treatment available to give her every chance to repair the spinal injuries sustained during the accident. At present the treatment and specialist advice obtained for Noreen has cost in the region of €60,000.
Before Noreen gets home to Gweedore her parents would love to put a lift into the house to let Noreen stay in her own bedroom and keep her life as normal as possible.
Please come out on the 14 September 2008 and support this good cause. If you are unable to do this event please sponsor one of the cyclists.
