Dave Kane Time Trail 3rd August
16 cyclist took part in this round of the Dave Kane time trail league hosted by Donegal's Four Masters cycling club. John Heveran took first place with a 39 second advantage over Thomas Martin. Johns main contender in the league took 3rd place with a time of 22:11.
The rain held for most of the event, and the competitors had the advantage of a tail wind on the first half of the course to the Bridge-end roundabout. Once around the roundabout the cyclist where faced with strong head winds, which left alot suffering on the final leg.
Once again it was a disappointment to see only two cyclists, Ivan Wray and Adrain Mc Dermott from the Four Masters cycling club there to compete. Who ever said on the discussion forum about the Four Masters having wash day on a Sunday must of been right.
