Tonight saw the first time trial to take place on the Burt course for 2011. Around 40 cyclists from local cycling and triathlon clubs took part in tonights event. Strong head winds made the first leg of the race tough as each rider struggled to make good times to the Bridgend roundabout. But once around the roundabout everyone was aided up the climb to An Grainin Hotel by the tail wind which changed to a side wind further down the course. Great nights racing by all and looking forward to seeing everyones times starting to drop during the season.
Next Weeks race is a 26 mile road race on the Slab Road, Burt. This event is only open to Cycling Ireland riders.
